the buck in the back is the split ear buck ive posted before, he was a spike 2 years ago, he had his antlers as late as 3/26..

You should try to kill that deer. thanks Keep feed out and let the place grow up. thats what i do every year! and "keep the does around and the bucks will come around too," yeah ive heard that and it dont work either! that place was hunted about 8-10 times last year, maybe, and most of that was me the first week and none of it was after mid-november IIRC, cameras on it the whole time and not one pic of a >3yo buck.

oh, the plot? ive already decided i'm not going to do it again this year, the ROI hasnt quite been where i need it  thats the fall stuff from last year.

So going into this Fall, that dead brown stuff up against the tree line needs to cover those plots and be about waste high. twill be done sir! we didnt plant the other half of the plot last fall and it already is grown up over knee high.

What do you figure the age on this ghost to be?
I wish I had anything for you to help, but the deer were just like that at my lease last season, after opening weekend we didn't see a buck over 2.5 yo the rest of the season. It got to the point where I just gave up on it.
I do really hope this is the year BIG goes on your wall. I say that every year though.
Glad to see he is still around.

I think he's 8, was probably 4 in 2011 when I first got pics of him.
