GasGuzzler you are correct USPS flat rate boxes and envelopes do have a weight limit, it's 70 pounds. I have done 68 pounds a couple of times in the large box. NOthing greater than watching their eyes as they try to lift a flat rate box off the counter that is heavy as a bag of concrete.
