had my lab pup Jessie for a week now. Vet suggests insurance, another buddy does too.

What do you all think???

It's a tough decision, I don't know anything about premiums. I have owned and trialed two labs and maybe would have needed it twice.

Hard to say but if my dog got cancer or something like that, as soon as I could tell they were in pain and starting to suffer, instead of prolonging I would have to put her down.

Depends on breed and genetics, Worth it on some registered pups. Had it been available years ago it would have saved me 4 grand on the ridgeback with a congenital dermoid sinus problems. There' was only one vet int the country who performed this surgery and he happened to be within 30 miles from me. Pup was in the hospital for 3 months and vet only charged me for meds, no boarding or surgery. She lived to be almost 18 as a full blood Ridgeback. Constant companion at home and ranch.
