At the Lewisville gun show today and bought this knife from a individual. I know its a Arno Bernard sr made knife We think its Warthog Ivory scales has a tapered tang in the handle Hollow grind blade Sharp as a razor o.a.l. is 7 3/4 Blade is 3 7/8 scales have 6 pins cape buffalo sheath Logo - is different than what is on the latest knives ( maybe a earlier build) Arno names each series of knives after African Animals trying to figure out what this is & approx. worth

I sent a email to S. Africa asking the providence of this knife and this is there reply, which is cool as this is a original by Arno SR which may make it worth a little more, I paid $200 for it without any knowledge of the maker just cause I liked the feel and shape, I originally thought it was walrus tusk scales turned out to be warthog Ivory, Arno Bernard knives are made from Bohler N690: Based on the logo and the shape, I estimate that this knife was built approximately 10+ years ago by Arno Bernard Sr. before he joined with his sons under the current logo. It falls in the Grazer Series and looks like a forerunner of the current Springbok design. http://arnobernard.com/product-category/grazer/springbok/I can send you a Cape Buffalo Sheath that should fit that particular model for $50 ($40 for the sheath plus $10 shipping). If you are interested in purchasing a sheath, I will send you a paypal request. Kind Regards, Nathan Reynerson
