Specifically I coming from Florida on I-10.Looking for as close as possible(Rio not important).Small group last minute 15' hunt.Prefer >1 bird.

There were a couple of outfitters that had Eastern hunts last year. I have not seen them advertise this year, and I even inquired with one, but never received a positive response. They may have already been booked just from return hunts.

Just curious, but why would you drive past some prime Eastern country (GA, Bama, MS) to come to TX for a bird? There's also some good public Florida hunting for Easterns. Much, much shorter drives.

I figure as close to Florida as possible precludes Rios.
