 Rattlers pulled form under a buddy's house

These 4 were taken in about 20 minutes yesterday at a buddy's place just SE of Austin. There's still about 20 or so more under his house.(so he says) These ended up on his dinner table last night. The jerk didn't even bring me any to snack on. This is a size 13 boot for reference.   Good looking skins right there!

Bet he didn't have any rats or mice. Personally I think I'd cut a hole in the floor and call out a pumper truck and concrete underneath.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over them being under my house.......that's because I would move out until someone came and got rid of all of them.

I don't particularly care for rattlesnakes but I would rather cross paths with them than a cotton mouth. I've been chased several times by those aggressive bastards.

Glad I have a slab.
So for you fellas that cook them, how do you prepare them? I have bbqed them and fried them. They are usually very tuff chewey not to mention not much meat, and that's off some 4-5 footers, not small snakes.

I was under our house last week running PEX to the new bathroom addition. To say I was a little uneasy would be an understatement. I've killed numerous rattlers and copperheads that came out from under the house.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.
