I seldom do either. How about you?

I taste like crazy after pretty much every step and adjust seasoning accordingly. I only measure when baking.

I never measure, but taste at different stages of cooking.

Depends on what im making. We make crunchy and soft tacos about once a week for dinner. I can tell by the color/smell if seasoning is on or off. Other stuff I measure/taste more.

Measure for baking only. Everything else will taste and add if something is needed, according to my taste.

I usually measure on the front end, mix and taste ... add a little this or that to suit me or whoever I'm cooking for (I like spicier). sometimes have to tone down depending on audience.

Like others I taste frequently but I only measure when trying out something new.

If you are using ingredients you've never used before measuring is a must.

for new recipes, I taste in order to adjust.

for things I make often, I taste because I can't wait to eat.

If I have a recipe I'm measuring it out. Chances are it's something I've eaten somewhere else and I want it to be as close to the original as possible.

measuring is for baking, tasting is for cooking.

unless you're baking bread or biscuits. Those need to be done by feeling the dough.

back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf
