Just picked this lil guy up today at dicks. Should be a good gun for kiddos. First impression is its a really solid gun. I'll shoot it later this week and see how it is. Oh picked it up for $250

Yep. Has a decent recoil pad. The trigger seems to be pretty nice.

Yes but they are light and pack a little bit of a kick. Fill the stock with sand or shot to take some of that out.

I haven't weighed it. But it ain't very light. It's a super solid gun. It should be fairly take on the recoil. Weather hasn't been great I'm itching to shoot it

Got it sighted in close enough to get kiddos going. That's 5 rounds at 25 yd. I also shot it at 100yd. Just to see what it would do. I'm impressed with it so far

Hemi, I got one myself in the 7MM-08 5 years ago from Academy, $179 stainless optima barrel. Works out as a great little shooting tripod gun for me and fun to carry around on spot and stalk with sling. Like you said, it's not real light so absorbs recoil OK. I put a Limbsaver on the back and helped out a bit too. Like mine for something a bit easier to handle.

I'm digging it. I have extremely long arms and I can still shoot it pretty comfy. My kids can hold it nicely. I see a better scope in the future. We bought a few guns this last week so it stays stock for now. My wife picked up a ruger 9mm and I grabbed a XDs 9mm. Ammo to shoot all this is gonna make me broke hammer
