Just curious if anyone has any experience with theses scopes and what they compare with. I haven't seen many recommendations for them or against them and was curious if there was a reason.

They have a very hit and miss reliability rate. That being said they have stellar glass.

Love my new Recon scope and the 40mm tube. Makes my 260 look tough and shoots like a champ!! Great glass and no problems so far. Scope is heavy but what tactical scope isn't?

I was looking for a one gun any situation setup so I built a Mega 308 16". I spent a year looking at optics and went to Shot spending the week looking mostly at scopes (and suppressors). I bought a shot special demo 2-12 Spartan and could not be happier. Stellar glass, perfect reticle, accurate adjustment knobs and a compact package (heavy). I bought it from Val of Valdata, have spoken with him on the phone since and he is a stand up guy. I didn't pay retail and don't know that I would.
