I still use a Lanskey.
I also use an Arkansas soft stone occasionally

That thing looks like something from a doctor's office bolt

I have the wheels like the guys at the gun shows, recently did an impulse buy on a Ken Onion, and a lot of different stones.

These days I generally use my oldest 2 sided stone, then follow with a steel and finish with a strop.

I used the Ken Onion once and it's OK but won't do anything that I can't do with a stone.

I prefer high carbon blades more than stainless of any kind.

I use my 2x72 grinder with a worn out 180 grit belt, followed by a leather strop.

Work sharp all the way. I've got better things to do with my time then spending hours with a stone.

to each his own

With a good steel that's been heat treated correctly you don't have to worry about sharpening in the field.

I can use any of my knives after the worksharp on at least 3 or more animals before I need to sharpen the blade.

I do like the one you posted for carrying in the field if you need it. up

Worksharp makes a handheld. Coarse, fine, ceramic, leather, all on one tool. And it does a fine job!
