so far we've had a very eventful and busy season. between our persian and nubians we've had 14 born and 2 die. here are some pics of some of the kids. we've got 12 of the 14 on a bottle.

Looking good Aaron. They look kind of young to be driving already.

Aaron do you bottle feed all of your kids or are they just ones that the the nannies won't nurse!

I'm bottle raising all my persians and about half my nubians. I expect to have 23-25 total on bottle.

she's one of the 2 that died. bone popped through when stepped on when 2 nannies were fighting.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Love seeing pics of them. Do you have a special goat formula that you feed them? How many times a day do you feed them?

Eddie

Eddie we have tried different powdered formula but have had the best luck on good old store bought whole (cow) milk. I give them powdered colostrum for the first 48 hours then change to the milk. first 3-4 days I feed 4-5 times a day. then once they're sucking good I change to 3x/day.
