Since a coyote has been killed on this pasture, I "rarely" call it because I got a friend of mine that lives at the edge of this pasture so I do my best to avoid shooting in his backyard. What's crazy is my very first post 7 years ago on this forum was a hog and a coyote that I killed not even 10 yards away from where I shot this coyote this morning. I've been noticing the hogs are back and they've been hitting the hay hard so I decided to go out early and try to pop some in the fog but they where long gone. I noticed movement on the tree line about 280 yards out and it was a coyote so I laid down and started squeaking and to my surprise she was coming in, she finally stopped and I put the 168gr amax to her throat! Then Mother Nature let me have it I had to walk ten minutes back to my truck in a down pour but at least I got a kill plus we can use every drop we can get. Not sure on the range but that dirt to the left is exactly 276 yards from that tree line in the background it's amazing what you can do with a 1-4 scope.
