Almost finished with my built in smoker. Fire box is located behind it which is also a usable fire pit/grill

Very low heat smoking, so not worried about a fire..... The fire pit in the back will be completed with stone. The opening under the smoker will be storage for my wood.

Get some Spray oil (PAM, CANOLA, Etc.)and when you use the smoker and are done, spray it as it cools down and the oil will get into the metal like a Cast Iron skillet gets seasoned. I do mine that way and have ZERO rust issues.
