I took the flash suppressor off my AR and there is a washer behind it. Do I need to put that washer on with the can or leave it off?

Is your can a thread on or does it have its own flash hider or brake?

^This. It's only there to line up the flash hider.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Also the crush washers are not exact. For a direct thread on suppressor the shoulder it seats against should be straight to the bore as possible. So I would never use a crush washer period with a suppressor.

I agree with the "Leave it off," but where'd you buy your can? I'd ask them. Most have very good tech support. They might give the same answer, but at least you have it from the horse's mouth and in writing.

I know SilencerCo says absolutely no washer on it.
