Any universal ar style flashlight mount should work. Sure fire sells them but they can be pricey. It's super solid and hasn't came off after several rounds of 00. The light is a 6xp

You can also use 1" quick attach scope mounts. For a universal setup I made a mount to a scope to go from gun to gun by attaching plastic wall friction brackets together and putting light on one end and then attaching the other over a a scope.

Does your Colt AR have a RIS/RAS?

Ive used weaver scope rings with good success. Fit perfect on my DD omega rail.
