Grosvnor i am in Southern Live Oak also and went down and planted a couple of mini plots this past weekend hopefully there isnt to much rain and wash it all away. Farmlogs hit me this morning saying the property had 4.4 inches in the past 24 hours. Thats crazy year to date is already up around 10 inches.

will be even better if we can get some early freezes in mid to late november to knock some of the green out a little earlier this year than last.

Makes for some good bow fishin. The sabine river finally fell out of its banks after 3 years of drought. Ive got buy a boat and trollin motor. Sold all my old ones, because no flood water. Waded yesterday in the flood plain and shot some buffalo and carp. Saw some small gar. Water temp still chilly for the big gator gar spawn. Hope to see some healthy deer this year. They were fair to good last season in east tx. One more good rainy season would pull it back around. Noticed that the older bucks like 6 and up were suffering from antler growth? and the 4 and 5 year old class looked good. Where would we be without the white tail? cowboy

Had little over 2.5 inches earlier this month. Farm logs said we got 4.6 yesterday. Had several other smaller rains this year so far, hope it keeps coming!

0.1 of an inch. Less than three total for the year. More forecasted Friday and Saturday. It'll probably screw up my turkey hunt, but we'll take the rain.

Yall can have the rest of what I might get in the next month. There has been rain, ice, or snow for four months in south Fannin county. The stock tank has been out for over a month, the two track on the range has been under water for two months. I should've got my plowing done by now, but ya can't plow blackland when it's wet.

I know, I shouldn't complain.

Its so wet in nort east tx that the hogs can barely run in their own rooted up fields. Makes for some easy shootin. rifle

My place on Mill Creek in Bellville got over 7 inches when that last storm came through and Mill Creek completely breached the banks. Didn't really do anything to me as I only have a couple of feeders out there, but my neighbor had a riding mower, a 4 wheeler, and a bunch of farming equipment sitting in 2 feet of standing water.

We've been getting some good rains for a while now, and it looks promising that it'll continue. It could be a really nice year for antlers in most parts. Maybe I'll break my 5 year drought on harvesting a buck with a whopper.

5 1/2 inches last week and a big storm hitting us today. Weather guy on TV said we are now 2 1/2 inches above normal. Here in East Texas, we are all getting sick of the rain and dealing with the mud, but it is what it is.

Drove from Longview back to San Angelo yesterday. The rain started about Corsicana and stayed pretty steady from there on. Rather heavy on the west side of Waco.
Got home to see I'd gotten 1.64" at the house. The ranch in Menard/McCulloch got 1.26" and a friends place south of Santa Anna in Coleman County got 1.84". Still raining here today. Hope it keeps up!
