Picked mine up today put on ameriglo night sights ran 50 rounds of monarch 115gr ball into a 2in hole just left of center at 7yards. Same way every glock shoots for me. Love it recoil is on oar with the 42 until I tried the +p gold dots they had some serious pop in it but gave me a 1 in group at 7 yards. If you like glocks you'll love it.

Got my 2 in...going to get the wife out shooting this weekend and hope that she likes it. It feels the same as the 42 to me.

Would it be safe to say I need to pick up the mold for making holsters? Looks like this might be a hit

I dont get why anyone would want this the shield a kahr or other pocket gun in 40. I've shot the Sheild40 and kahr40 I could get off one shot accurately the rest I'd be praying. The 43 is even lighter I can't imagine the recoil it will have in 40

The snap of the 40 doesn't bother me like it does some. 40 is the only pistol caliber I own and shoot, I have about 3k rounds of 40 so I don't see myself changing calibers anytime soon.

Why???? Glock is obviously behind on the S Curve of innovation, I would continue to expect for them to be the low cost/volume provider without taking any big leaps of innovation. Eventually, that will not serve them well. I don't understand that statement. The Glock itself is probably the biggest innovation in pistol design since 1911. And they haven't "innovated" out of the 1911 in 104 years. When you get it right you keep it that way. And what has Glock done since then? Watched a bunch of firms surpass them in value, differentation, and responding to consumer demand and changing preferences. You can't be innovative and rely upon that in today's market. Look at the comments below- I think the price should be $449, starting
Interesting to see that is weighs more than a sig 938. Kinda disappointing to me Think I'll just stick with my Lc9s , holds a extra round in a smaller frame. Xds holds more and will most likely be smaller also. My shield does all of those things, and you can find them for as low as $325 now. And it's a 40 with the same ma capacity as the glock 9mm. I get 7+1 with the extended mag. And it fits my hand perfectly. Not begrudging the glock. They make great guns, but i don't see the value at that price.

Found one in stock so I've ordered it and hopefully should get it this week. I've gone through so many carry guns over the years and had finally settled on a Glock 26. Carried that for 4 years or so and never had any issue with it other than thickness. Sold it last fall in anticipation of the Glock 43 being announced at SHOT and wanted to get top dollar for the G26. Figured once the single stack 9 was announced it'd be hard to sell a G26. After the SHOT disappointment, I was instantly regretting selling it and exploring getting another G26 or trying out an XDS or Shield. Kept putting it off because I just couldn't fall in love with either and I kept handling the G42 imagining it in 9mm one day. I nearly crapped my pants when I saw the FB post about single stack 9. Its been a long journey for me and based on the range reports thus far I think my quest is completed.

Picked up the G43 yesterday and first impression was great. Looks and feels like a winner.
Got it to the range today and put 150rds of FMJ through it (WWB & Federal) with no issues. Then moved to 50rds of HPs (Federal and Hornady) and again no issues. I need to put more rounds down range and try out different HPs but I think Glock is going to sell a ton of these. Recoil is manageable and accuracy was good.
My only complaints: 1) Only comes with 2 mags unlike other new Glocks that come with 3 2) The pinky extension doesn't increase capacity of the mag. Its simply for ergonomics.

I reserved one, why I'm not sure. But it seemed like the right thing to do after a couple of Sierra Nevada's. But I am pretty eager to check it out.

The wife and I and another couple were at Ft Hood Saturday and they had one at the PX and I snatched it up. I'm a big S&W fan and have two M&P Shield9's, one never fired but I saw this G43 and had to have it. I'll get to the range one day this week and shoot it.By the way paid $495.00 for it.

I think I'm going to like this little G43 and if I like it as much as I think I will it probably will become my daily carry. I didn't buy it to sale so I wasn't price shopping. At $495.00 out the door by the time you put tax on $449.00 it comes out close to the same. When your buying the quality of guns we have today for between $400 to $500 I think were doing good.

I was in the same boat. I bought mine at $499 out of state. After shipping, FFL fee it only came out $50 more than the normal price after tax. After putting a couple hundred rounds through it I'm already thinking it's going to be my carry gun for a long time.

I looked at the 43 at the Lubbock gun show this weekend-while I'm not a huge Glock fan, I liked it pretty well and bet it's going to sell like mad. Surprisingly, while small, it is noticeably larger than the 42. I'm a big guy and could probably get away with pocket-carrying it, but most people won't be able to. They had them for the bargain price of $599 at the show.

Figured used gun market would suck for G26s once single stack was released. haha! not a chance man. They'll sell for $450-500 all day, every day, till the end of time.
