But it was worth it  went out this evening to fill feeders, check cows and look for sheds. Twenty minutes into the shed hunt I notice something face first in a pile of hay, I looked through my optic to verify it wasn't a calf and sure enough it was swine! I had to wait for a clean shot he was behind a tree and all he was giving me was rear hind or a head shot in the hay, minutes go by and I went for the head shot and I was low he took off running into the pasture and paused about 175 yards and that's when the MK3 connected....... I haven't seen a hog in daylight since August, I love using thermal but seeing them during the day is a blessing around here
