Picked up this Ruger American in 308 at Big Town.
Duracoat, hydrographics in Snow Breakup
I know snow camo had little use in TX but I have always loved it.
Installed a 1 piece Savage mount
Sun Optics 30mm 3-12x50 and coated/hand painted it to match
Will add bipod and Whitt Machine brake later

That looks SICK! I like it! The only thing I did to my standard American (7mm-08) was use silver Talley mounts to give it a little color. I used the short mounts, but actually had to machine a little off the back mount with my Dremel in order for the magnification ring to clear. It wears a Leupold VX-1 in 4-12x40.

I know this is not a "Texas" camo but I really like it!

You know whats funny, I was thinking of doing something similar. I love the matte white color, I have seen it on some trucks and it looks badass. I was thinking of painting a gun in that color.

Your right, not much use in Texas but man does it look good!

It would fit right in the Trans Pecos/Big Bend area
