This all started out with my wife wanting a new 20ga semi-auto found a nice A71 youth 20ga that fit her very well. We took it out and started shooting Field skeet off a Champion WheelyBird Trap(Nice trap machine) She had a blast and was very accurate even w/ the shorter barrel youth model. I picked up her gun and started shooting Skeet and I had a blast. I have always been a 12ga snob if it's not 12ga it's not a real shotgun mentality(stupid) I really and truly had fun w/ that 20ga and it smoked clays ever bit as good as my 12ga did. That started a fight w/ the wife over who was going to play with the new shotgun( I Lost) Jump ahead one month to My Birthday & my wife buys me a Yildiz SPZ ME 20ga over/under 28IN barrel's. Very nice gun / great walnut stocks / good fit & finish . We took both out to a pecan grove shooting skeet off that whirlybird trap this Sunday and went thru 2 boxes of skeet and a case of shells. Great times & awesome guns. The only 2 picks so far is hard for my wife(slide release button on her semi. And not shooting enough thru my over/under yet to break in the action so it breaks open easier( right now it's tight but slowly getting better). the only mods so far is fiber optic sights and a Limbsaver recoil pad on the over/under( very light) I have never had a personal over/under of my own (shooting slide 12's for 30 years, talk about stuck in a rut) anyway I was apprehensive about switching to a over/under and my friends were a lot of help: " there is a long learning curve " , "spent $xxxx number of dollars on a O/U can't hit anything with it and it just sits in the safe", etc. etc. I took this Yildiz out and had no problem switching to a O/U. I am going to shoot the heck out of this gun over the summer and come Sept. 1st , I think I will be ready to give the doves a run for there money & if it works well for that we will see what else it can do A71 SPZ-ME .

We've got a yildiz 12ga o/u. I like it. But the action never has loosened up like I'd prefer.

Take the fiber optic sights off. They are useless at hitting anything moving.
If it bleeds I can KILL IT
