I found a bag of dove in my freezer from September. It was frozen in a gallon had of water, so it's more like a block of ice. Is this still good to eat?

Good to go, thaw it out and cook to your perfection.... should be good for at least a year stored like that.

Slower you thaw it the better, put it in a bowl in the fridge.

Thanks for the input. They'll go on the grill next weekend along with venison tenderloin and venison jalapeņo & cheddar sausage. I'll also have some grass feed low line angus rib eyes and t bones.

It's time for a beast feast.

Stuffed with jalapeno, cream cheese and mushroom. Coat breast in fajita seasoning and wrap in bacon. Cook over mesquite coals. Oh crap that is Godly.
