Cousin of mine wanted to get his gal a rifle so I picked up an adl youth 243. He has since changed his mind and wants a 223. I can find an adl 223 locally but it's not youth. Can I just swap the stocks?

I don't see why not. If it's a wood stock, you could also have it chopped to have a shorter LOP. I don't think there are any other differences between regular and youth stocks.

yes, but you might also need to keep the internal box mag and follower with the the barreled action as well, since 223 and 243 have different COLs.

HHUUMMMM, what to write, what to write, I got nothing.

They're synthetics and yes I'll swap the blind mags/followers. The youth models have 3" shorter barrels didn't figure it would matter just making sure.

THE .223 IS NOT ADEQUATE FOR DEER! ITS A MATTER OF PHYSICS! Just kidding. Your stock swap should work.

the new Remingtons are crap...older ones before the buyout are ok...new ones since bought by Cererus are junk.

Another possible option....can you get an after market youth stock for the .223 ...that way she will have two guns that fit her frame.
