This is the first picture we've seen of him in his dress blues. It is a button we ordered to wear to the ceremonies. He is following in the footsteps of both his grandfathers. Unfortunately, we laid one of them to rest today...my FIL. I'm very proud of him.

Congratulations! What AFSC has he chosen? He scored high enough on the asvab that they told him he could get into whatever he wants. He chose cyber-security, but would have had to wait over a year for a slot to come open, so he enlisted for 6 years and went in under his second choice...Egress. At his 2 year mark, he is guaranteed a transfer into cyber-security. So, he will be doing his tech school in Wichita Falls. He will be maintaining the ejection seats on the fighter jets.

Outstanding. I did my initial USAF enlistment for 6 years active as well. At least he will be in Texas for a while. My youngest daughter is USMC and did her MOS school in Missouri. Good luck to him, you and your family. Please thank him for his service for us.
