I received my T4 elite fill today. It felt good but the palm swell was bigger than I am used to. The Elite fill, which mine is, is 2.1 lbs vs 2.8 for the standard fill. I delivered the stock to the smith today who happened to have a T4 with the standard fill. We compared them side by side and it was amazing how much lighter mine was. It was the first Elite fill he had handled as well and was very impressed by it. I bought it because it was ready to ship except the barrel inletting and I am a man of very little patience so I paid a little more.

NOW, I want everyone to consider what you pay for a Manners to start with. IF weight is even remotely an issue for you get the Elite fill. It is worth the $$. I did not notice mine was light until we handled them side by side. I am not an expert or long range guru but weight is weight. This thing is light.

Good info! up

Most of the time I am sure most of us want to cut weight. In the situation of a heavy recoiling chambering this is information that may let someone know they don't want this option.

I spoke with a Rep two days ago about an MCS-EH1 for a Tikka 300 Win Mag for a friend. It is a very light weight stock for any rifle, much less a 300 Win Mag I am going to load with 210 gr. bullets. We will address that recoil with a brake so the rifle is more pleasant to carry.
