Any one use this stock? My last AR had a MOE carbine adjustable stock but it always stayed in the longest position. I am currently building an AR that will be used mostly for hunting and was thinking of using this stock.

I dunno I would call a fixed stock "better," but I prefer a full stock on a hunting AR. I supose the skeleton types are fine too. Collapsibles have their place though.

If you are talking a fixed carbine stock - I'm not such a fan of those...but if you are talking the MOE rifle stock...then shoot yeah...I have this one (but in FDE) on my 20" AR15A4 copy and like it very much.

Nope, that stock I pictured is basically an upgraded A2 rifle stock that uses a rifle length buffer tube. Fixed, lighter, built in buttpad which opens for ample storage inside the stock compartment, attachment point on left and right for QD sling swivel if so inclined.

I really like my MOE fixed rifle stock too. You can so get an extended butt pad to make the LOP longer if need be.

I love mine on my 6.8. It's so much more stable than a collapsible stock. Great for a hunting rifle.

I'm not an AR 15 aficionado by any stretch of the imagination but the two AR 15's I currently have wear this stock. I don't have any use for a collapsible stock . If I was letting youngsters or women shoot em that could benefit from the adjustable/collapsible stocks I'd certainly use one but the fixed stocks fit my applications better. Black and FDE are pretty standard..but checkout the newer Stealth Grey...I'd like to do that maybe with my next AR. Only problem is it probably has to be ordered. Most dealers only have black and fde magpul accessories in stock.

Here is another option..
EFX-A1

This is on a 18" rifle I built last year.

Not saying it's better than the MOE, but it's a nice option.
Very solid.
