In the last week I have finally started moving my hand written notes to Excel. I can e-mail one of the files I have so you can see what I do, if you're intersted.

I made this form about 35 years ago while my wife worked in printing and she made me about 100.

When those ran out I tried note books but once computers and printers got invented I just made that old form and now print out about 10 every week or so and keep them on a clip board and when I develop a load I file them in the appropriate 3 ring binder.
Not wanting 40 3 Ring binders on the shelves I have my own screwy system that I just file sorta by case.... like the .308 Binder has any case that is off the .308 such as .243 or .260 in it.
Another has all the wildcats(3) off the 6.8SPC that I load for.Same with the Creedmoor the 6.5/6mm/22 all in the same binder. The big White binder is a catch all for stuff I just load occasionally.
Here is the shelve with all the Currently used Binders. I have three Binders that are from back in the day when I only loaded 10 or so calibers that are full.

I recently ordered a Caldwell chrono that connects to my phone - hopefully that will work well capturing shot data. Obviously I will still have to input some load data manually into whatever system I choose to store the shot data in.

Too much detail for some of you maybe but I'll probably store all data in a database and put together a web-based interface to access it.

Lyman makes a Load Data book.
