No deer hardly ever come to it so aint checked it in a couple of weeks. Had 3 yotes and a bobcat, but this was a surprise. And still haven't shed yet.

Billy, I may know why. The protein tubes look to be pretty high to me, 36-40" to the bottom if I'm seeing correctly. I'd drop them 6" or so and think you'll see lots more activity. Looks like you have some on the ground, so may have a coon having his way with the protein as well. I like my penned protein tubes to be about 30-34" off the ground, no higher.

Lot of green winter grass on the ground and I would guess you have lots of winter weeds also. My deer have not been eating much protein at all since late Dec now with all the rain and green around. Don't get down just yet. By late summer things might be a lot different.

Is a bit high for sure... I had to trickle just a little corn around the feeder then stuff the tubes with it... this way they wouldn't just get full on the corn that's on the ground and leave... takes time though iv seen some deer not take to it for weeks
