I replaced all 10 of mine with these and absolutely love them. I put Duke Dog Proof traps around my feeder pens as I had so many when I bought my place it was pathetic. 6 years later and I rarely even have a coon show up on cam. They work and are worth the price if you want to get rid of the coons. Also when I got rid of the coons on my place the turkey population exploded....... here is a current pic now.....

How far this feeder throw corn? It throws it pretty well but I don't think it got the distance my standing feeder did. I will have to measure it eat time I'm there and let you know. I will be setting my duke dp traps there so I won't bean issue to check lol

What did you use in the coon traps I used corn a couple times by itself, sardines another, and sardine juice and corn mixed together. The mixture seems to have caught the most but it was also the first time use it in those areas.

The mixture seems to have caught the most but it was also the first time use it in those areas. I just fill mine with corn and catch a coon every now and then. If you keep them set then soon the pics of them at your feeders will be few and far in between. Love the feeders and the traps....

I have the 1k version - while it does not have as good of throw as my elevated feeders - it has issue with coons (they can only get what the hogs leave them on the ground), and the hogs have not managed to carry it off yet (no damage or even really any movement).
Turkeys must know season is over - they were reveling under it today.
