Little cousin gave me a couple split turkey breasts from their show birds. Got one brining all day, gonna season with course black pepper, kosher salt and some garlic and bake with potatoes.
Its hard to find new things sometimes.

too many options here ... I fired up the pit yesterday and cooked up a bunch of various different things. steak, butterflied pork-chops, ribs, feral pork bone in hind quarter and some odds and ends that I don't know what you would call them. I mixed up hamburger, breakfast sausage, chorizo, chopped onion & bacon and mixed it all with bread crumbs and then stuffed into onion skins wrapped in bacon. Then I used a similar mix of hamburger, sausage, chorizo, chopped onion, bacon and mushrooms into a bacon wrapped fatty ... I got meat for the next week or so. Roasted some jalapenos and mushroom caps and baked a couple of spuds coated with olive oil, sea salt and course black pepper.
