I just had my second meal of baby back ribs. My first was Monday night. I put those suckers in a cooking bag Sunday night with a little liquid smoke. I rubbed them with my own mix Monday morning and put them in the over for 5 hours, cooled them while my beans were baking, cut the end off the bag, sliced off three ribs, and had a great dinner of ribs, baked beans and coleslaw. The baking dish went back into the cabinet, and the ribs went into the frig while still in the bag. I left more in there tonight for another dinner.

I do the same with my boneless turkey breast during the holidays. You ever use them?

what kind of cooking bags are you talking about? I have used the crock pot liners in similar fashion using a crock pot but never an oven bag...

I use them when I cook a whole turkey...I place two-three stalks of celery and carrots under the turkey and then throw in a rough chopped onion. After it is done, I take the veggies and the juices and blend them before I make the gravy. Add a little roux and the fine chopped giblets after boiling whole and BINGO...yummy!

Have used the oven bags for roast, ribs, turkey, chicken and goose. Worked for all those.

Achieved perfect results for roasts and turkey. Easiest cleanup, unless you accidently cut into the bag!

Yep. I had three meals of baby back ribs from the bag, then twisted the end and froze the remainder of the ribs. I'll have them later this week, maybe with potato salad and coleslaw. Netherlands only cleanup I've done was from my baked beans.

I have used one for a turkey breast and it worked good. My great uncle always did his Thanksgiving turkey in one and his turkey was always awesome.
