When you pick up a pup from a registered litter, will the breeder give you a certificate with a registration number to send into AKC to register pup?

They registered the litter, and gave me the paperwork so I could register the pup myself.
Some breeders want the pups to carry the kennel name, and will also register the pup online for you.
You should still get a copy from them, even if they do it that way.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Yes,,,, you definitely should have gotten at the very least an AKC registration application. If not I'd be asking a few questions.

Ok, thanks, I pick her up in three weeks, went online last night looking for info on this.

Also looking for AKC UKC clubs to run some Hunt tests with when the time comes.

Is there still animosity between AKC/UKC tests?
