Please, take care of yourself. A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related.

This means that the remaining 77% are caused by knuckleheads who drink bottled water, Starbucks, soda, juice, energy drinks or stuff like that. Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol . They cause three times as many accidents.

This message is sent to you by someone who worries about your safety

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

You are spot on, Tigger. Lately I'm MUCH more worried about "distracted drivers" than drunks.
I swear, nearly everyday, I almost get hit by someone texting, talking on their dang phone, playing with the radio, using their computer, reading, putting on makeup, driving 40 mph in a 70 zone, reaching for something in the backseat or on the floor board, and that doesn't even count the foreigners living here now that never held a steering wheel till they landed.

A year ago, a lady ran a stop sign right in front of me. I was doing 40 mph. She had to see me, it's a GIANT white pickup truck. She nearly totaled it.

I walked over to see if she was ok and there's MacDonald's krap all over the interior.
That Egg McMuffin nearly put her light out permanently.

The other day, A lady cut me off in traffic because she was texting on her phone. I reacted so fast, I dropped my hamburger and spilled my French fries.

I find it odd that they outlaw phones in some areas, except hands free , but women can drive down the road putting lipstick on while looking in the rear view mirror.

The first car wreck I was in was when a woman hit me from behind on the freeway exit ramp because she was putting on her lipstick. When I told her we would need to exchange insurance info and maybe call the police, she said she couldn't because she had already totaled two cars in the last year, so she said she was going to park her car in the parking lot at work and tell her husband that somebody hit it while she was at work. Since I was driving an old clunker that had not really been damaged much, I let it go. I've always wondered if her husband believed her.
