Run it through a FL sizing die or decapping die and knock the primer out slowly. I do it all the time.

Just punch 'em out like spent primers, only be very gentle and wear safety glasses.

That's what I have always done in the past, just wanted to make sure I wasn't an idiot. I usually have only done 5 or 6 at a time. Thanks y'all

...or you could just pull trigger on them AFTER you pulled the bullets & dumped the fertilizer, and proceed as per normal.

I'd also swab out the barrel when you got thru to wipe all the leftover trash.

Done this both ways - slow but steady in the press, or for lots of them, chambered and fired the empty primed hulls & added to the pile to be reloaded.

I just punch out the live primers like spent ones with a de-capping die. WEAR EYE PRTECTION and work slowly.

I do it all the time. Just be careful.

The last factories I pulled I reloaded with the factory primer in place. Otherwise I push them out AND SAVE THEM with the press.

Pass the gravy.

I put a little water in each casing, it can't go off when it it gets wet. Then deprime it.
