I am on my 3 rd one. I prefer the Spintech system for positive feed stoppage. I did drill several holes in the adjustment plates and use small bolts so it would not rattle down. (Our ranch roads are hilly and rocky) Also prefer 100# hopper but I use a lot of corn.

Some have an adjustable motor speed on the trigger handle that comes in handy at times.

I have a cheap Foreverlast model, it does the job for what I need.

A friend has a Lamco. I was impressed with the build quality of the feeder body and motor guard.

I have used Road Feeders since 1989. First was a Sweeny and it was okay just that if fed corn everywhere you drove with the cupped spinner plate. Then went to All Seasons with the old gate and then into the Eliminator Spinner plate. I have used those style since 1996 on ranches I worked with. The new eliminator plate is the best out there. I have a homemade road feeder that I just switched over to the Eliminator style plate. I used a homemade version that was cheap and worked for the last 10 yrs for personal use. I have used from 50# models all the way up to 200# models. It all depends on how area you have to feed. Once you train the deer to using one you will really enjoy it and how much better the hunting will become when you can put the deer where you want them.

The Eliminator plate is great, it sure stopped the slow trickle of corn everywhere.
I moved my bumper feeders to the rear bumper, even on the Ranger. I got tired of corn dust in my eyes, or sticking to the windshield, and plugging the radiator.

I too like the 100 pound road feeder. 50 goes out way too fast.....

All Seasons with the Eliminator Plate is the set up to use in my opinion.

Shhhhhhhh better to be quiet than remove all doubt..

I have one on the front of my golf cart. Used to use it off of my tailgate.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

I have the same model and it works great. It would rattle a little bit around the lid area so I cut some water hose and laid it on the rim. No more rattle.

Bought a lamco 50lbs. Just what I was looking for. A little on the expensive side. Used it last season. Outstanding doesnt rattle. Great in wet weather. I can open up the tailgate of my rino with it on. One piece. Slides right into the receiver. Even soaked it in a couple of large water holes, no water got inside corn still good. I highly recommend it. Corn doesnt rattle out stays in the feeder. It has a mud/splash protector, works great. Very sturdy. Good steel. all welded.
