This knife is made by well known knife maker Robert Capdepon from Louisiana who is very accomplished. My wife acquired this one and spoke to Robert about it. He started making fixed blade knives and is completely self-taught. He no longer makes fixed blades now only folders, only makes one of a kind and does not take orders. She absolutely loves this knife and very fond of Mr. Capdepon but unfortunately we need to sell to pay down some bills come due.
The condition is great but has some checking at the point of the mosaic pin on both sides and one side by the lanyard hole in the stabilized handle in pics 6 & 7 but cosmetic only. The edge does not appear to have been sharpened from original edge and has some rub marks from taking and removing from sheath and a few tiny surface spots in the blade side of the makers mark.
