I've hunted a lot of contest and killed my share of coons but I had a buddy tell me that without a trappers license you could only have one coon or fox in possession . I read the Tpwd handbook and it's not real clear to me . Do you need a trappers license to kill more than one?

Only if your going to sell them. I trapped, spot lighted for years. If your just going to shot them and not sell, my understanding is you don't.

But if your going to just let them lay, not skin them for sell. Are you wanting to sell the pelts?

You can possess as many as you want, and if you are worried about it, just get the trappers license, it is only 19$

at least take their peckers for toothpicks Durn, I've been wasting them to use as olive sticks in martinis. Also make good hour & minute hands on the clocks.
