what other parts need to be ordered? stock/buffer

Does the upper have a bolt carrier group and charging handle? If not you will need one.

It may not need a recoil buffer...I think most of them are blowback operated so don't require that for operation - at least that was the case with the Plinker Arms unit I had.

that is true this CMMG upper has its own spring. But decided to install buffer assy. that way will always have a functional extra lower in case of finding future uppers thanks hetman

I have some new scopes due in this week to change out the ones on mine & my wife's bolt hunting rifle. so I will have 2 scopes 2 choose from the takeoff's:

Léopold 3x9x40
Bushnell elite 4200 3x9x40

Id put a red dot or a peep on it... just my thinking but when I think of a platform like that I would have no use for a scope. guess you can just pop them off and on huh

You can pick up a Bushnell TRS-25 for less than $100... great inexpensive red dot for a .22lr AR.
