I'm a hunter not so much a shooter. A history of shoulder surgery has me a little hesitant to go out and fire off a 100 rounds of anything. So I have been using bthp match 168gr ammo in my A10. Can anyone share their experience hunting with an A10 in this caliber and what ammo they found works well?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

I use 168 grain Barnes Vortex TTSX in my 308 AR.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I think almost any good bullet in the 150-180 range would do well.

My gun has a NATO chamber and finding hunting rounds is some what perplexing. I have been using the SSA BTHP Match and wonder about pass through risks. On everything I have shot thus far the exist hole has been maybe twice the diameter of the bore using the BTHP.

Can anyone share their experience hunting with an A10 in this caliber and what ammo they found works well? Federal's 165gr Sierra Game King was designed to mimic the ballistics of the 168gr Gold Medal Match as a hunting load. And it does well in both accuracy and terminal performance.
