I'm looking for a hunting lease in East Texas for the upcoming season.
I would prefer the northern half of East Texas if possible. I live in Wylie and this would keep it 2-3 hours from my house.
I'm almost 50 yrs old and have been hunting most of my life. I do not trash the land that I hunt and always respect it.
I don't have kids and my wife doesn't care for hunting/camping, so I would not be bringing folks out with me.
Please let me know if you have anything available or if you know of someone that does, please pass this along to them.
Thanks.

I don't know if this would interest you, but if you do a internet search for "Hunting Clubs in East Texas" quite a few show up. The membership price is usually in the $600.00 - $1200 range. I have been a member of two hunting clubs in the past. They were not in East TX. The quality of the hunting was something between public land, and a decent deer lease. The real value was the off-season. They got very little pressure for fishing, or varmit hunting.

Just putting this back up.
I know that it's a long way out to next deer season, but I wasn't on a lease last year for the first time in a few years and I really missed it this past year.
Thanks.

Finally a sunny morning. It would be a great weekend to find a lease.

I saw they openings on the Renfro Hunting Club in East Texas near Lufkin. It is on the TPWD website or you can go to there own website Renfrohuntingclub.com. It is year round access for $1500 a year and they have pictures of some nice bucks killed in the past.

Thanks Mountain. I'm trying to avoid the hunting clubs. I'm sure they're great for some folks, but I'm looking for something that doesn't have a ton of people on it.
Still looking for the right place.
Y'all have a great week.
