Stop by the brewery that I work for, New Belgium Brewing. Fun tour and great beers! Tell them that Jerry, the Texas Beer Ranger sent you.
There's several good breweries in Ft. Collins. You could make a full day of brewery tours.

You work for new Belgium? I need Abby in west Texas, and I can't find it. frown

There are many excellent breweries there. Go to Ace Gillets and say hi to Rey the bartender. He is an awesome guy. Happy hour has $2 local breweries. Funkworks is my favorite every time I go.

On the can double check Colorado regulations. In MN silencers are against the law period, it was only a couple of years ago that, law enforcement agencies got an exemption.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

All sorts of hunting you can do. I have made two bird hunting trips there.

And time to take up fly fishing if not already.

As others have suggested on big game, some places you can not hunt without preference points and even for landowners many of the better areas will require several. Despite the expense having to do it as a non resident this year, it would be in your best interest to get your first PP for everything you can right now. As well as the Texas lifetime if you think you will come back to TX to hunt any at all. It still costs the same as a TX resident for a non resident to put in for TX drawn hunts. There are some primo ones that are worth driving back to Texas for if you get drawn.

All over that, I like this idea!

Definitely looking at getting a TX lifetime license. I'll be back PLENTY! Only applied for a deer permit this year, can't afford all that cash outflow ($1,700+ dollars just for preference points until they refund you!!!).

Outback is a solid car, when we lived there, seemed like everyone had at least one outback. All wheel drive comes in handy at elevation.

Official Vehicle of the front range not Colorado. I do not believe you would find a single resident Subaru in my home town. Most of Colorado is Red the front range is Blue. Only problem most of the people live on the front range....
