Has anyone used one of these? What are your thoughts? Practical for duck hunting?

I've heard of some cycling issues with Benelli's and that they are kinda heavy but personally haven't played with one.

I got one recently, have not had much time with it (really one outing) and shot about 20 rounds through an 870 pump. I used low recoil / low noise 12 gauge shots. It is quiet (not hollywood quiet), but I did not need hearing protection and no performance issues in a pump. Biggest drawback is size and weight. In the full 12 inch configuration, it is a monster at the end of the barrel. You can buy a kit to make is shorter / lighter, but that sacrifices sound suppression. I'm thinking of doing a bull pup kit to keep a full 18.5 inch barrel but not have the weight so far out from my body. I really need to spend more time with it to give it any more of a review.

Had to look that up - that is one big honking suppressor to hang on the end of a 28" shotgun

They had one on the counter at Silencer Shop when I went in there. It's even bigger in person than it looks in the pictures. Would be fun to have one, but it's a big brick to swing around on the end of a shotgun.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Machine gun shenanigans? Is there something I need to buy?
