man that auction has some FINE shooting irons. I bet they go for more money than I really need to spend on any one Pistol or rifle that probably would never get shot again.

I would like one of his everyday pistol's ( looks like 90% are presentation/ engraved or sn# 0-xx ) still very expensive would you drop 5-10k on a everyday hunting pistol. I don't think just cause Elmer owned it would make me a better shot.

I want them all. But the Col. Jim Corbett rifle (for the history) and the machine guns are my favorites.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

OMG. That is one of the finest collections ever assembled.

I cannot imagine the money those guns will bring.

Great taste in guns! I read his book "Hell I was There". Entertaining book and he could write but the little feller was full of himself! He had to be good shot or someone woulda beat the brakes off of him. Wish I could afford some of the trinkets he collected.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

I was gonna' bid on the Ithaca NID 10g Magnum but Elmer had it re-stocked so it's lost all collector value.
