Once again, I got skunked bow hunting this season. Now that it is over, I want to finally kill something with my bow (turkey). Where do y'all usually place the arrow when shooting a turkey?
You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas! -Davy Crocket This is duck hunting...shirts and shoes are optional

center mass on a line straight up from their legs. If you shoot high or low you will just be giving them a haircut.

drum, drum, symbal. I shoot them at the base of the neck most the time. I have made some longer shots that I aimed when they were broadside and tried to break the wings down and have been successful with both.

Envision where the wing goes into the breast and aim for that point.
If you ain't hunting, you ain't living right.

Those are all good recommendations. If you have one walking straight away center upper 1/3 of the back. Another good shot it you get one strutting within bow range, wait until it is facing dead away and shoot in the poop chute, dead bird.
One thing about that last shot suggestion is a turkey strutting facing away from you cannot see you draw

You know that 8 ring on a 3d target? Anywhere in there will do.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Navasot - were you hunting in a marijuana field or did 'something' fall out of your pocket and land next to the arrow?

First time Ive ever seen mary and tom together in the same pic. That's hilarious! I aim for the body mass and then run after them to make sure they don't run.
Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.
