I have one in .270 that is my favorite rifle. Having a real hard time not clicking on that deal-you cant get a better new rifle for that price unless they have gone downhill in three years. Mine stack cheap winchester powerpoints on top of each other

Why oh why did I have to read this? Looks like I'm gonna need another die set.

Edit: Do you have a link? It's not showing up.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I have a 243 and it is MOA off a truck tailgate.. Would definitely say it is worth the money.

Order placed. Thanks soooo much for the heads-up. Didn't see this on Slickguns so this post saved the day...243 on the way! And I didn't have to give up my 270.

Much to my surprise, it has already been shipped. Not PSA-like at all!

Picked it up and I'm fairly pleased with it. Seems light. For the price it probably is a good deal. Everyone needs a few cheap guns to beat up on.

Got mine fast. Weather slowed it a day but fantastic trigger. Can't wait to get it dialed in.
Thinking of dressing the stock up a bit.

Armadillo Guns in Nevada has them for about $300 out the door until the end of March. Just throwing it out there.

I dry fired one at dfw shooting sports last month, and was VERY impressed with how crisp the trigger was. Almost as nice as my Timney.

Anyone have some experience with the 308? I have a savage that I really like but at this price I'm depating on getting another 308 in this gun. What ammo shoots the best? How is the recoil since it is pretty light? Thanks for any help

Not sure about the .308 specifically. My XL7 in .270 jumps pretty good but the recoil pad is very nice. I have shot a couple of boxes or more through mine in one setting at the range with no hint of sore shoulder.
Cheap Winchester powerpoints consistently group an inch and under for me.

I recently bought a Savage Model 11 in .243 and like the Marlin trigger as good or better. I would have bought another Marlin when I saw this deal but I just cant quite justify it.

I have an extra scope. Time to pull the trigger. Ordering one tonight
