I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anybody have a receiver they're not using? Can be silver or blue, PM me what you have and how much you want (will need it shipped to Lubbock).

If you come across an extra let me know. I'm debating on either going to academy and buying a new rifle for 200 and scrap just about everything else or order a Kidd receiver and spend 1500 building one.

This is what I did for a build for my daughter. The receiver alone is as much as a complete rifle.

Bump. I know there's one on Gunbroker for $180, but heck you might as well buy a new one at that point.

Yup, better to buy a new one & sell the barrel/stock.. Receivers just don't turn up much...

I was able to sell the factory barrel and stock for $60 after just using the reciever for a build. Just FYI.

Should be able to gross $100 for a "normal" hardwood stock and 18.5" tapered barrel. Once you add all the other little things you can get the receiver for nearly free (gross) if you're patient and will ship. All that means for $100 net cost you can have your NEW receiver.
