Granted, it's NIB, but I had no idea they were this expensive.. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=467556199
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

WTF
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.......holy kaka.....What a Ride!

Or maybe you're paying for his time so taking 400 pictures of this gun?

He sells a copy of his DL for $30. How much to throw in a copy of his SS card?
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

My understanding is they were discontinued because there were so many issues with the design that Ruger could not find a fix for. So I can't see paying anything for a 10/22 magnum.
On the other hand it would take a lot of green for me to part with my CZ 512 22 Magnum.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

That's crazy. There's a long list of guns I would rather have for that money.

I sold a 10/22 magnum on here about 5 years ago. Think I got $400 for it and it sold in 10 minutes of posting it. I was happy. Mainly because I bought it a few days before with a regular 10/22 and paid $300 for the pair.

Speaking of .22 Mag, anyone know how much it's going for nowadays? I haven't bought any in a long while.

Before I got the link to open my guess was $1400 since it was NIB. I saw it's an anniversay model so I bet someone or two is happy.
I sold a Marlin 922M recently for $400 and it's a better gun IMO. There is nothing wrong with a dual extractor 10/22M with a bolt buffer. Most people don't realize how many parts on these don't interchange with the .22LR version. Even the stock is different. They also have a machined steel receiver instead of aluminum. They were made for 10 years but in lower numbers.
.22WMR is going for $0.40 per round face to face if you can find it. I'm sure it's more than that online. Retail is less in most cases but impossible to find in a brick and mortar store.
The above is how it is HERE, your area may differ.
Pass the gravy.
