The short story to go with the picture – Son came home from college because his baseball games got canceled this weekend due to the weather (other team was coming from Kansas) so he decided to go with me to the new lease to help me set up a feeder and a blind. We get there about 1:30 and decide to walk over to where I wanted to place the feeder so I tell him to ‘grab the gun, you never know’. We walk about 75 yards along the fence line when I start hearing pigs on the neighboring property. After 5 minutes, her and a couple more cross the fence and he put a wallop on her. I did get an offhand shot at another one (after my son handed me an unloaded gun - squeeze, click, damn, cycle a round, shoot at running pig some 200 yds off) but did not connect. Pretty exciting first 30 minutes on the new lease.
If you ain't hunting, you ain't living right.
