I built a router sled for flattening wide and irregular boards that won't fit through the planer. I REALLY like this jig and it allows me to use pieces that I wouldn't have been able to use before.





This slab is about 20 inches wide and 4 inches thick.

Yeah, tons of it. I need to make something to connect to the dust collector and maybe catch most of it. If not, I need to use this thing outside. Definitely have to wear a respirator mask when using this inside.

The guy that made this for me used basically the same set up! Lots of dust in the air for sure!!! This was a huge piece of mesquite. Baker
