For those that are interested in hunting Colorado, I just got mine in the mail. If you didn't apply for a tag, or buy a license last year, you can order one from their website. Do it early if you're putting in for a draw, they take awhile sometimes.

I do my apps online, but like having the brochure in hand, hss all the updated and standard rules.

Already put in for all my points. Turkey apps were already due, and that's a good time to get all your apps done online.

NP, I have only seen sheep in 3 places regular, other than that, I have no idea about hunting them. One place is on i70 in Georgetown CO. (east side of HWY), they are there all year on those cliffs and wall face, so much so, they have a viewing place there by the lake.

U551 on hwy 50 between Sleepy mountain and Monarch mountain, Saw them there every trip to visit Texas, or on my way to deliver metal work to Aspen/Snowmass.

Other spot would be on the border of U65 and U74, almost hit some and saw them all he time crossing the road about 5-10 Miles south of Ouray on hwy 550 (million Dollar Hwy), I understand they are quite thick in that rough country, also most is NF,

Thanks Western. CO and WY are the only states I do the apps myself (use a service for the rest). So I'm always looking for info. smile

No problem, wish I could help you more, but not many folks are able to hunt them, so only what I heard from locals and saw when I lived there. Great range though outside of Ouray, worth looking into IMO. May be some outfitters in there that have info on their websites as well. May give you a feel for a DIY, IDK.

You know you want to chase them around on the Sangre de Cristo range, especially since there are 2 NR rifle tags. Take pictures of them in random places around S69, but they aren't kind to the NR with tag allocation.

Rifleman will likely have to go to Alberta to be able to have a tag at some point.

Yeah it's try to get lucky with draws and raffles for a few years. After that, who knows? Gonna take a helluva speech to explain why I need to drop the cost of a new PU for a sheep hunt. frown

I say show the boss an empty space on the wall and with disgust in your voice, say "SEE!" Or pout, that sometimes works if you haven't already wore that out LOL

OOOOOU tell her it is now part of remaining in the BAR up Blame it on the "job"
