Just trying to stir up conversation. I think this is my current list and may try to do one of them soon:

1. AR-15, still looking for the right one and deciding on features. Can't decide whether to go real basic for a truck gun, or trick it up some.
1A. Bolt-action threaded-barrel .22 LR, probably either a CZ (may get the 3 barrel kit) or one of the Savages.
2. 1911. Really like the Springfield Loaded series but am also intrigued by the Remington Enhanced and the Ruger SR. Probably can't(won't?) afford the next level (Dan Wesson, etc.)
3. Suppressors for 7.62, .22, and 5.56. Need to make a trip to Austin some weekend and check it out (Silencer Shop).

Non-firearms lists:
Trip to FiremanJG's class.
Handgun class with a pro.
Get into reloading.

GA Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creemoor with one piece Templar action, Manners T2A carbon fiber stock with a 22" fluted barrel.

And a Crux suppressor to finish it up.

All I can think of right now is maybe a Browning X Bolt Composite 3D or Stainless Stalker in 7mm-08.

I would however, love to have something like a Blaser R8 Jaeger Premium Edition or Classic Sporter in .30-06 or 8x57mm JS Mauser. Maybe someday.

I also think a Tikka T3 re-barreled to 8x57mm JS would be interesting as heck.

Threaded barrel 6.5 Creed
I wish S&W would come out with a 10mm

Other than that, I need to get the final few components to start reloading.

S&W did come out with a 10mm, the old model 1076. Theres one on Cabelas gun library in KS.
Some day I would like a full custom built rifle, GA Precision, Horizon, McWhorter etc
And I keep eye balling an STI Nitro 10, I love the 10mm round.
Also a Nighhawk Custom 1911.
My list could go on and on and on and on and on...

Finish my rifle build. Basically all I have so far done is action and trigger. May keep the stock I built, may replace it.

Lever action .357mag
22/45 lite

Only gun I could think of needing would be a nice side X side in 20 or 28 gauge, like a winny model 21.

I am covered on rifles.

Sweet rifle, I wanted for years but never did get one. The Little Sharps Rifle Company Caught my eye, then one chambered in 38-55 on a table at a gunshow had to go home with me. http://littlesharpsrifle.com/custom-rifles.html

300 wsm and/or 35 Whelen.

Got a Winchester Model 70 stainless classic 30-06 that I may send off to have the barrel re-bored to 35 whelen.....or might just sell it and look for a factory built rifle.

The 300 would be my all around NA Big game rifle! Hopefully I can get them both!

......and in .470 nitro. A Krieghoff SxS would be more practical, but these are still $10k. Maybe one of these days.......

I'm a pretty practical guy, but I would like to have a nice 1911 someday.

I'm like you, I need another gun like I need a hole in my head. But if I was forced to choose I would like a Remington Nylon 66 Black/Chrome and I'd also like a nice 1911 9mm with a rail.
